It could have been
a hoax
Now, if the disciples had been involved in some kind of hoax regarding
the resurrection of Jesus, they obviously then knew it was a lie.
People don't die for something they know to be lie.
Chuck Colson said that it was less than 24 hours
after they were caught, that the Watergate conspirators starting
ratting on each other in order to save their own necks.
