Jesus 'claimed'
a lot for himself
One may ask why did Jesus, as a human teacher and prophet, take
so much on himself? Isn't it a bit egocentric to make those kinds
of claims? It's only egocentric if it's a false claim, and if he's
not who he says he is. It's not egocentric for you to say that you
were a child (or something you achieved). It's simply a statement
of fact---no brag at all.
