Exclusion is not 'fair'
What about the people who have never heard. People who grow up in some isolated jungle or who lived 1000 years before Jesus lived. Are they going to be excluded when they haven't even had a chance to hear about him?

Jesus was very specific---if you don't believe in him, you won't make it to heaven. It would be arrogant if any person came up with something like that. So, if he really is who he claims to be, mainly God, then it's not arrogance, it's simply a statement of fact.
