Some may surmise that there must be some 'requirement' after you make a decision---some sort of 'conditions' that must be kept or else you would lose the gift.

Consider this: Suppose your friend won the lottery and suppose he decided to have a brand new Porsche delivered to your house as a birthday present. But what if, at the end of every month thereafter, you got a bill in the mailbox for $1,000? Well then, you would conclude that what he gave me was a loan, not a gift.
