I'm still bothered that many people won't go to heaven
If the claims of Jesus Christ are true, then what it comes down to is that we all have a choice to make about it. We can either be part of the problem, or we can be part of the solution.

Whatever God decides to do about the masses of people who don't know about Christ, the fact is that we do know about Christ. If we fall short of his standards, and we hear about Christ's payment for our sins, and then remain passive or perhaps even actively reject that offer of forgiveness, could we stand before God with any excuse?
