I'm still a bit
'apprehensive'
In terms of the relationship between faith and reason, there are
two mistaken extremes. The first extreme is expressed that reason
and faith are somehow mutually exclusive. Biblical faith assumes
the need for investigation and evidence as part of the process.
One could even say that a certain amount of skepticism is actually
encouraged in the Bible. Another word for that is discernment. There
is definitely a Biblical basis for the idea of looking before you
take the 'leap'.
