Another helpful tip is to get a "translation" you can understand. If you want to study in a very detailed way, use the New American Standard Bible. But if you're just trying to understand the flow of it, read from The Living Bible, because it's so smooth and readable. There's also another very popular translation called the New International Version, and it's sort of in between the other two. The important thing is to start reading! |
