What about moral
order?
Author C.S. Lewis, who at one time was an atheist, became convinced
that there must be a God based on what he called the moral argument.
There is a standard of morality that has existed throughout history
that has no explanation if you don't believe in a God who created
the moral order---a sense within human hearts and minds that we
have a 'prescription' as to how we ought to live. We know there
are certain things that we ought to do and certain things that we
ought not to do that are more than just personal preference. The
fact that it transcends all peoples and all lands and all times
points to a common source. It points to a 'lawgiver'.
