An expert of circumstantial evidence , Simon
Greenleaf, was an ardent skeptic of Christianity. He used to poke
jabs at some of his students in what he saw was the naiveté
of their faith. He was challenged to apply what he knew about legal
evidence to the case for the resurrection. As a result of an investigation
of the resurrection, he did a 180-degree turnaround. He became convinced
that Jesus had actually come back from the dead and wrote a book
about the evidence. Now, just because he was a skeptic and brilliant
and trained in the field of legal investigation, this doesn't 'prove'
that the resurrection actually happened---but, it does indicate
that there's a tremendous amount of evidence that most people have
never examined.
