Another thing about hallucinations is that they
also tend to have a sameness to them---a real similarity---but,
in accounts of Jesus' appearances, there was a great deal of variety.
He talked to a woman and to a man---he spoke with individuals. He
walked and talked with a couple of people on the road to Emmaus.
He talked to the disciples in a group and appeared at one point
to as many as 500 people---he appeared to groups. That's important,
since hallucinations don't appear to groups. They only appear
to individuals.
