In another instance, Jesus wanted to make sure they knew he wasn't just a ghost or an apparition, so he asked them to give him some food and he actually ate it in front of them. Hallucinations also tend to recur over long periods of time, whereas these appearances of Jesus took place for forty days and that was the end of them. Nobody ever reported seeing him again. |
