The Bible is a bit
confusing
The Bible should be read in its plain and normal sense---just as
you would if you were reading a newspaper. Consider if your friend
wrote you a letter or sent you an email and said that their two-year-old
son is a tank. What would be the plain and normal way to interpret
that statement? Would you take him to mean that his son has artillery
mounted on his forehead and tracks around wheels instead of legs?
No, you would assume that he's stocky in build and may even be a
little destructive around the house.
