All religions don't have it all wrong. There are some things that Jesus and Buddha or Confucius or Muhammad agree on. There are some true statements and beliefs in nearly all religions. C.S. Lewis said that when he moved from atheism to Christianity, he was able to take a much more liberal view of the various religions. When he was an atheist, he said he had to believe that all religions are wrong all through, that the main point in all the religions is a huge mistake and that the vast majority of the people throughout history had been wrong about the one thing that mattered most to them. But, when he became a Christian he came to believe that all these religions and even the strangest ones contain some hint of the truth.
