Why do cowards 'turn'
into warriors?
The point is not that the disciples were the only people willing
to die for a cause, it is that the disciples demonstrated cowardice
before the resurrection and then there was a radical change---one
so powerful that eleven of the twelve ended up dying a violent death
for proclaiming this about Jesus coming back from the dead. Now,
if the resurrection didn't happen, how would one explain these former
cowards willingly facing hardship and death? In addition, while
people do die for causes, they only die for causes they believe
are just and true causes.
