I thought God really
loved us
How could a loving God send any one of his precious creatures to
such a terrible place? Because, not everyone is willing to admit
their sinfulness and receive the pardon of what Christ did when
he died on the cross. Jesus paid the penalty and he's put the ball
in our court---it's up to us now. But, he will not force us. Remember,
true love offers the freedom to choose. In one sense, hell is simply
a place for people to be who don't want to be with God. C.S Lewis
said that the door to hell is locked from the inside and that there're
basically two kinds of people. People who say to God, "Your
will be done O God," and people to whom God says, sadly, "Your
will be done O man, have it your way then."
