Another interesting example is the prediction
by the prophet Ezekiel about the destruction of the city of Tyre
on the Mediterranean Sea. It said that King Nebuchadnezzar and other
kings would not only destroy it, but would throw its debris into
the water. Within 15 years, Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed the mainland
city, but the inhabitants moved to a nearby island. Two centuries
later, Alexander the Great took debris from the destroyed city and
threw it into the water in order to form a causeway out to the island
so his men could destroy the island city. Just remember, Ezekiel
lived and wrote over 200 years before Alexander the Great.
