Then one must ask themselves, how does the pantheist
know that it's not an illusion---that the pain is an illusion? Pantheism
not only fails to provide intellectual satisfaction on this question
of pain and suffering, but it doesn't help us much emotionally,
or subjectively either. How would you feel if your child was dying
of a painful disease and I came up to you and told you that pain
is just an illusion?
