Does God help us
with our pain now? God has not only promised that we can go to heaven when we die if we have that right relationship with him, but he's promised to help us deal with the pain that we experience in the here and now. He doesn't promise to take away all our problems until we get heaven---that's what heaven's all about. What he has promised is to give us peace and joy in the midst of, and sometimes, in spite of our pain. Furthermore, he actually promises that he'll help make good come out of the pain. |
