How can I develop a 'relationship' with God?
Conscience tends to be a great help when we think about sensing direction from God---and you'll find that your conscience will become more and more sensitive when you have a personal relationship with God. But probably the greatest help comes from reading the Bible.

It is probably best to read the New Testament first, and then go back later for the Old Testament. The Old Testament is just as inspired as the New, but you 'cut to the chase' with the New Testament---it is what the Old Testament is leading up to---it's the conclusion.
