One of the great insights of the times we live in now is that what is true for you may not be true for me and vice versa---or what's true for us may not be true for someone on the other side of the world or at another time in history. A thousand years ago, people would have nearly all agreed that the earth was flat---and that's not true for us now. But hasn't the earth always been spherical---from the beginning? We don't believe that it was flat and then later changed to being spherical. They were 'sincerely' wrong! |
