They could have
'built' upon each other
Many of the Biblical authors didn't even have access to what the
others had written. But even if they had, consider what would happen
if you put the writings of doctors who wrote on medical subjects
over the last 1,500 years into a single volume. Do you think you
would have a unified whole---or would it be a chaotic mess? Suppose
you took forty journalism students from the same culture who speak
the same language and had them write on the kinds of subjects that
the Bible covers. Do you think it would be a harmonized and unified
literary masterpiece?
