MEETING TOGETHER:
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another---and all the more as you see the Day approaching"
[Hebrews 10:25].

MEMBER HABITS

The following concepts have been used very effectively by Kensington Church in the previous church plants. So we have adopted them to guide all of us who are interested in this new adventure:

I Will be Committed to...

... The Cause
Having a strong desire to share Christ in this geographic area

... Pursuing Personal Spiritual Growth
Develop a personal plan for spiritual maturity

... Leading and Caring for Others
Be a part of a small group and 'pour' into the members lives

... Leading and Serving
Determine your giftedness and use it to serve others

... Prayer
Start or continue to pray for this outreach and the people of our focus geographic area

... Tithing and Financial Support
Consider, in addition to your regular tithe to KCC, to add an additional portion to be 'earmarked' for the k:west endeavor

... Reordering your Schedule to Love
Commit to focus your future schedule to make sure that "Loving God" and "Loving Others" are first place in your life

After six months of gathering, connecting and building momentum for a K:west campus, it is time to start forming the core leadership team that will take this vision from dream to reality.  So many of you have shared your heart for seeing this happend hearing how God may want to use you for his incredible purpose.

BEING A MEMBER:
"Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others"
[Romans 12:4-5].
