That sounds genuine, but the Bible says that God wouldn't let you in! Because, on the one hand, it seems that the more one learns about God and about what he expects, the more one learns about what real goodness is. On the other hand, the more honest one is willing to be about themselves, the more impressed one becomes about how terribly far short we all fall, and how unqualified we all are to earn a spot in Heaven. |
